Privacy notice
Upoluj is a private, invite-only hobby project for family and friends. It tracks prices for exact Zara Poland products and sends email alerts.
Information handled
- Your email address, used only for invite-only sign-in, account access, and price-alert emails.
- The Zara product URL, exact colour and size, alert rule, target price, observed prices, availability, and checking status for each watch.
- Limited security and operational data, such as session identifiers, hashed request metadata, delivery status, and error logs needed to run and protect the service.
How it is used
This information is used to authenticate invited users, check public Zara product information once a day, evaluate the rule you selected, maintain the watchlist, and send a combined email when an alert is due.
Upoluj does not sell personal information, show advertising, build advertising profiles, or use analytics or cross-site tracking.
Where data goes
Application data is stored in PostgreSQL on the project owner's private DGX Spark server. Tailscale Funnel provides the public encrypted connection to that server. Gmail SMTP is used to deliver sign-in codes and price-alert emails. Upoluj requests public product information from Zara when a product is added or checked.
These services receive only the information needed for their operational role. Data is not shared with marketing or advertising services.
Browser extension and sessions
The Chrome extension reads product details only after you invoke it on a page. It sends the selected product information to the private Upoluj server and stores its own session credentials in Chrome's extension storage. The web dashboard uses secure, HTTP-only session cookies.
Retention and deletion
Price history and operational records may be kept indefinitely while this hobby project runs. Removing a watch stops its active tracking and removes it from your watchlist. Some shared price observations and limited operational records may remain.
To request deletion of your account or email information, contact the project owner or the family member who invited you directly.
Hobby-service limitations
This service has no advertising revenue, paid service level, or uptime promise. The Spark may restart or be offline. There is no off-device backup, so stored data may be permanently lost after hardware failure, corruption, or accidental deletion.
Changes
This notice will be updated if the tracker begins handling data in a materially different way. The date at the top shows the current version.
